THE HISTORY OF WEATHEREND
In the early 1900s, Norwegian-born landscape architect Hans
Heistad created outdoor furnishings to complement the rock-walled gardens at a
Maine coast estate called Weatherend. Heistad's creations were distinguished by
restraint and grace of style and are still in service at the estate almost 90
years later.
