WARD Gallery is a Fine Art Gallery located in the upstairs loft above Ciao Bella! Garden and Home in Petoskey, Michigan's historic Gaslight District.
The gallery has presented original fine art in Little Traverse Bay for over 20 years. WARD Gallery was originally located in the historic train station across the bay in Harbor Springs. The Gallery exhibits original fine art - paintings, sculpture, glass, ceramics and furniture by established artists.
The Gallery is open year round and showcases art by living Michigan and regional artists, as well as many other artists working both in the Unites States and internationally.
WARD represents a variety of genre and styles: Abstract/Non Objective, Landscapes, Still Life, Figurative, and Expressive objective art.
Several of our artists excel in interpretive watercolors of Northern Michigan that focus on the most memorable subjects from Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Mackinac Island, Charlevoix and other north western Michigan areas. Our watercolor artists also welcome commissions of private cottages.
The Gallery regularly sets aside a substantial portion of its Loft space for individual and joint exhibitions of artists' work. Throughout the rest of the WARD Loft, on the main floor and the lower level of Ciao Bella!, art from our talented group of fine artists is also on rotating exhibition.
Each June, all gallery artists are exhibited on all three levels of our facility to promote a most popular event - the Petoskey Gallery Walk.
This 2012 summer season The Gallery Walk takes place Thursday evening June 21th between 6-9 pm. Please join us.
