Oval Covered French Porcelain Casseroles
Pillivuyt Porcelain Bakeware & Casseroles Since 1818
Pillivuyt - the original non-stick cookware. For almost two centuries Pillivuyt still retains a large portion of the human factor in the production process. Each dish goes through seventeen ( 17) "hands-on" steps before leaving the factory, ensuring that Pillivuyt quality is preserved throughout the generations.
Pillivuyt cookware is internationally known for its exceptionally even heat conduction, versatility and durability. Because of the extraordinarily hard glaze, baked on food can be removed easily with a short soak or gentle scrubbing.
Pillivuyt items with lids are the most difficult to produce. Being fired at 2500 degrees ensures the quality and durability for oven use, but increases the risk of torque or twisting of the pieces. To ensure the shape and a tight fitting lid, both piece must be fired together, as perfect partners and will be boxed and sold together for decades of successful use.
Origin: Made in France Since 1818
