Classic pudding bowls are also commonly referred to as a pudding basin and are a holiday tradition throughout the British Isles.
"No Household would be complete without the traditional Mason Cash pudding basin, even the Royal Household." Not only have Mason Cash products become design classics, but they also maintain the highest quality standards whilst incorporating the perfect functional design. In fact, the standards are so high even the Brisish Royal Household uses the pudding basins for Plum and Christmas Puddings to give their staff in the appreciate season as gifts.
In producing the perfect pudding....once the mixture is complete, it is poured into the basin and covred with greasproof paper, muslin or cling free wrap. The rim around the top of the basin makes it ideal for retaining the "lid" and therefore perfectly designed for any mixture requiring steaming.
Mason Cash is still known for its classic kitchenware, especially the traditional mixing bowls and these signature white pudding basins.
Mason Cash ceramics are oven, micorwave and dishwasher safe! Temperatures higher than 400degrees are OK for bakeware only.
