Pillivuyt has been producing fine culinary porcelain in the heart of France for nearly two centuries.
Founded by the Pillivuyt family in 1818, the factory is now employee owned and operated near the town of Mehun-sur-Yevre. The factory is an important part of the small town economy and employees over 300 people.
Today, Pillivuyt is recognized as France's leading porcelain manufacturer and is internationally know for its exceptional quality and design. With over 800 pieces in production, Pillivuyt maintains an exceptional inventory in the US of 700 pieces which ship within 7-10 days.
Every piece of Pillivuyt porcelain is oven (even under the broiler), microwave, and dishwasher - safe. Each beautifully handmade Pillvuyt porcelain carries the signature diamond-hard glaze, embedded through every piece rather than applied only to the surface.
